Santiago de Chile

Santiago de Chile is a destination of choice for international business travelers, developing a reputation as a calm and clean city with a good quality of life. There are plenty of exciting attractions to explore, from the bustling downtown to the picturesque coastal towns. The best way to discover this constantly changing metropolis is to walk around the various districts and neighborhoods, taking in all the sights and sounds of this vibrant destination.

Day 1

Reception at the airport and transfer to the chosen hotel. Accommodation.

Day 3

Breakfast. Today we will start our excursion heading towards Curacaví, which is known for its fruits and for its broad variety of restaurants offering typical Chilean food. Here we will visit a “chicheria”, where we will taste a special drink that mixes fruit with alcohol. Then we will head west in order to reach the Casablanca Valley, known for producing the best white wines in the country. Here we will visit the organic Emiliana Vineyard and afterward, we will continue our trip to Valparaíso, the oldest and most important port of Chile. Valparaíso’s picturesque layout is enhanced by the surrounding hills that seem to dive into the ocean. After visiting one of the most important maritime destinations of the Pacific coast, we will continue travelling north along the coastline to reach the city of Viña del Mar. Because of its many parks of huge trees,  Viña del Mar has gained the well-deserved name of ‘Garden City’. We will also learn about its history and visit the beaches and the Casino. In the late afternoon we will return to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 2

Breakfast. At the scheduled time, departure for Santiago’s City Tour. We will first visit the city center starting with its main avenue, the Alameda Bernardo O’Higgins, where we will get to know the Presidential Monetary Palace, the neoclassic building where the coins that circulated through the country were created. Next, we will stroll through the Huérfanos and Ahumada pedestrian walkways, where the greatest commercial activity of the city is centered.  Afterward, we will go to Santa Lucía Hill, an important architectural place, as it represents the strategic point of the foundation of the city, next to the Forestal Park and to the Art Museum, with the Mapocho River by its side. We will cross the river in order to get to the Bellavista neighborhood, a well-known bohemian neighborhood with strong cultural, artistic, and night life. Nearby, there is the entrance to the Metropolitan Park with the San Cristóbal Hill, a place where you will enjoy one of the best panoramic views of the city. Finally, we will visit the new downtown, Providencia town, and the Las Condes and Vitacura neighborhoods, which are responsible for the growth and modernization of Santiago. Accommodation.

Day 4

Breakfast. At the scheduled time, transfer to airport to take the departure flight.
